You know, in my doggy life, there are days when I chase after every butterfly and dig up every spot in the garden, and then there are days when I just sit by the window, watching the world go by. Both have their moments. It’s so true, it gives me the shivers (or maybe that’s just a flea).
I’ve come to realize that sometimes, just lying on the porch and letting my mind wander is when I come up with my best plans for the next squirrel chase. Or those long strolls with Marcos, where I’m not really doing much, but suddenly I figure out where that sneaky cat hides.
On the flip side, there are days when I’m running in circles, fetching the ball over and over, but not really getting anywhere. Kind of like when you humans are busy all day but feel like you haven’t achieved much.
So, maybe we shouldn’t be so quick to turn our noses up at those quiet moments. Instead, let’s embrace them, understand them, and use them to our advantage. Because sometimes, doing nothing can lead to the best somethings.
Woof Woof!
